The Forróçacana group emerged in 1997 from the union of young people from Rio in love with Luiz Gonzaga’s forró pé de serra, Jackson docPandeiro, and Dominguinhos. Soon the group embarked on an authorial career throughout Brazil and created a style that combined forró with samba, and choro, among other world influences such as rock, reggae, and oriental music.

He made several international tours, in France, Portugal, United States.
